There is a whole lot of walkin’ around to be done at our State Fair and my wife, Jean, and I did more than our share yesterday and loved every minute of it. Great music and more clog dancing than most humans could tolerate. We caught the U.S. Army Brass Brigade and WOW! What an awesome musical group. Out of about a thousand offerings we both opted on a Gyro Sandwich and it was bigger than my whole left arm. Mmmmm…I can still taste it now.
We met current Miss North Carolina, Arlie Honeycutt and she was a true honey. The North Carolina State Fair was way too much for me to tell you about but try a State Fair for yourself. I’m certain you will find a lot to love. May God bless America and restrict our wars to games.
