We enjoyed meeting you, Art on the Poet’s walk today. Your warm and generous spirit is a gift. Thank you for sharing your poem with us, and for the lovely rendition of “Nancy with the laughing face”. We hope to see you again soon.
I have known Art for 35+ years. I first came to know him when I was a boy of approximately 5-6 yrs. of age. We lived on the same street in Battle Creek, MI. (East AVE.). He was very kind to me..In fact I learned how to ride his bike in his driveway!! His Dalmatian once bit me..lol..He always had nectarines and other fruit to give me (I’m certain he knew I didn’t have much to eat… To this day, one of my fondest memories is him giving me one of the first copies of the 3 Robots…and the inscription ” To Steve, a real Pos guy!! Art, all these years later I remember all of this and now share it with my Children. This may seem strange to some. .but I love this man..like an Uncle.
Hi Art,
Quite a long time ago, you gave a safety presentation to our workforce at Meritor Automotive in Heath Ohio. It was the BEST presentation ever and today I was paging through my past employment successes and there was your presentation info – I just had to look you up and tell you what an impact you have made on my life, and on my career.
God Bless you, Art.

I just found a book that I read 25 years ago…..The Platinum Rule. It reminded me of all of the POS books I bought to read to my oldest daughter so that she would have the most positive mental attitude. I heard Art speak at an RVDA Convention that inspired me tremendously. I bought all of the cassette tapes of that meeting and everything else he had at that time. I never stopped long enough though to say thanks to Art and let him know what an impact he had on my life. Thank you ART and God Bless You!
Rick
Wishing you a belated belated Happy Birthday ART.
