Having a mind that takes you down the main road can be a burden, especially when you share your thinking in the role of the class clown.
Seinfield, Robin Williams and George Carlin all shared the same problem in school. They thought differently and shared it in classrooms. The class laughed but the teachers sometimes felt threatened perhaps and administered punishment of some sort. Creativity brings with it a lot of challenges. People, in general, resist change and creativity is responsible for much of the change in this world.
My book titled “Beyond Duh!” explores my own encounters with my creativity.
I still get excited when I find new creative challenges. Kind of like my mind is asking, “How much do you have left in you, you old fellow?” And now quite often my mind answers back, “Duh!”
Hi Art,
I enjoyed your thoughts on creativity, and I LOVE the title of your book! Happy Monday.
