Every now and then I reread Russell Cromwell’s great speech titled Acres of Diamonds. You can download it free at manybooks.net/titles/conwellretext95acrdi10.html It is about a man who sells his home and land to go out seeking diamonds. What he sold turned out to be one of the most productive diamond mines in the world.
I was reminded of this the other day when I pulled onto the dirt road to our home. At the turn I noticed one of the prettiest cluster of trees blazing in every color with their fall leaf showing. Awesome.
