I’ve been around the professional speaking field since the early seventies and I can remember when I truly believed that Marilyn VanderBur a former Miss American was the finest women speaker alive. I’m not going to point fingers or get political but I just sat and watched just about the entire Republican Convention and I am happy to report that I heard a number of really fine speeches and darned if at least half of them come out of the mouths of women. What was that now considered sexist ad that was so popular…”You’ve come a long way baby.” Well I now believe the women of America have been doing their homework a lot better than us men. They were fantastic!
